MPI graduate Sam Kadi's short film Raised Alone wins Fourth Award! Named Best Short Film at the Ferndale Film Festival  & Detroit Windsor International Film Festival (DWIFF).

Raised Alone is a childhood drama of an accomplished violinist Adam Bandley who lived as a kid in a luxurious mansion, his housekeeper keeps his company, and he has his beloved violin to cherish. Still, feelings of loneliness leave him wishing his father could, just once, make time for him over his demanding job as a broker. Now a gifted violinist, Adam Bandley performs his world- renown solo, providing a glimpse into his youth attempt to make his wish comes true.

Sam Kadi's Raised Alone won the Best Short Film Award at the Ferndale Film Festival- September, 2009.
