MPI graduate Sam Kadi's short film Raised Alone wins Fourth Award! Named Best Short Raised Alone is a childhood drama of an accomplished violinist Adam Bandley who lived as a kid in a luxurious mansion, his housekeeper keeps his company, and he has his beloved violin to cherish. Still, feelings of loneliness leave him wishing his father could, just once, make time for him over his demanding job as a broker. Now a gifted violinist, Adam Bandley performs his world- renown solo, providing a glimpse into his youth attempt to make his wish comes true.
Director Sam Kadi and cinematographer Rob Skates on the set of "Raised Alone." Sam Kadi's Raised Alone won the Best Short Film Award at the Ferndale Film Festival- September, 2009. This joins the other awards Raised Alone has received: Best Michigan Short (Detroit-Windsor International Film Festival) Best In State & Best Dramatic Screenplay (Riverside Saginaw Film Festival) Congrats to cast, crew, and supporters.
